Mary Kay and her sisters Rosann and Chris traveled to Milwaukee on June 2nd to attend a luncheon held at the Helen Bader Foundation offices in Milwaukee. They heard keynote speaker Dr. Maria Carrillo discuss Alzheimer's research news. Maria Carrillo, Ph.D., is Director of Medical and Scientific Relations, Alzheimer's Association. She discussed findings about the role biological markers may play in detecting Alzheimer’s disease before memory loss occurs.

The Hope of Alzheimer's: An Advocates Journey will wrap production this month at a Baum family reunion in Appleton, Wisconsin--the family's home town. Editing begins soon and project is on schedule to premier on public television in 2011.
Time for Us Summer Camp kicks off Sunday, August 8th. The Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Southern Wisconsin and forMemory team up once again with the Lutherdale Adventure Camp near Elkhorn, Wisconsin for a week of fun, fun and more fun.
